The Canadian Pipeline Technology Collaborative is a hub for the advancement of science, technology and innovation in the pipeline sector.

  • Addresses industry-wide priorities by facilitating multi-stakeholder involvement in technology development, assessment and deployment projects.

  • Creates opportunities to share the science, technology and innovation priorities and technical accomplishments among pipeline industry stakeholders and the public


The CPTC is a program operated by C-FER Technologies with initial funding and support from the Governments of Alberta, Saskatchewan and British Columbia. Program operating funds are provided by Alberta Innovates.

The CPTC receives direction from an Advisory Committee composed of representatives of companies operating pipelines in Canada and of government representatives engaged in the oil & gas industry.
